Once again surrounding the strikes and blocked roads, I am getting more and more inside Colombia. Before I reach a large city, I made a stopover in Popayán. This is one of the oldest cities founded in America.
The architecture reminds a bit to Arequipa due to the nice white colours of the houses, churches and main buildings. The weather however is already tropical and you can tell. The Caribbean is just around the corner!
