Right in the middle of the coffee-growing region of Colombia we found Pereira. The city, very close already to the Nevado del Ruiz and half way between Cali and Medellín has a fistful of things to offer.
Obviously, a visit to a coffee plantation where I learnt how the plants are grown, how the coffee is harvested and the different problems of this industry.
