The historical centre of Quito is known to be the best conserved all over South America. Tens of magnificent churches and official buildings seem to confirm that fact.
Besides this area, the whole city has a peculiar mixture of the Inca's tradition and also the joy of living that is waiting for me at the Caribbean.
A few kilometres away from downtown the Equator, an imaginary line which divides the Earth in North and South. I wasn't very convinced at the beginning but I got a nice picture, I have to confess.
