Lima

I finally got to Lima, the capital city of Perú. Weather is not as good as in the south of the country but good enough to let me walk around and visit downtown.

Numerous colonial houses with well preserved balconies and courtyards give to the city a very special touch and make it unique.

A highlight of the city is the San Francisco church which catacombs are open to the public. More than 50,000 people are buried here. Impressive.
