Uyuni

Finally got to one of the highlights of my trip: the Uyuni salt flat. It is complicated to define with words the beauty I saw there. A few pictures can maybe help me out.

In this place distances don't seem what they really are. The isla del pescado, an island full of cactus helps to give an idea of the size of the salt flat (five times larger than Tenerife).

Leaving the salt flat behind and continuing towards the south, volcanoes and lakes can be found close to the Chilean border.

Hundreds of flamingos seem to have found a nice place to spend the winter. Myself, I need to keep on going.
