Already on the way back. As a first stop, el Calafate and its main attraction: the Perito Moreno glacier.
Weather over winter is quite cold down here and to find snow is normal. Besides that, it is worth it to make the 12 + 4 hours from Ushuaia. I can't explain the feeling you get when you see blocks of ice, millions of years old, falling from the glacier into the lake. And the sounds of the ice itself cracking all over is just astonishing.
