À propos du weekend de Pâques, hier vendredi saint la vente et consommation d'alcool étaient interdites au Venezuela. Cette situation dramatique (voir photo en bas) a été resolu avec quelque bouteille de whisky 12 ans (a mélanger avec eau de coco) et rhum Gran Réserve (a melanger avec maracuja). Ça a été.

Le problème c'est surtout que l'on aura la même situation en 2 semaines avec l'élection présidentielle. Bon courage.

visit of a friend

I continue preparing everything I might need during the trip. For instance, my first-aid kit has already reached 1.2 kg :-(.

In the mean time, I am very happy I could spend some of my last days at home with Andrew who came all the way from Brussels for the weekend, and Najor. For those of you a bit jealous after seeing the picture above, I am afraid you will have to wait 6 months to come and visit me here in Tenerife. Either that or you hurry up. One week to go.

Checklist for the trip II

✓ Step 8: Leave Grenoble for good.
✓ Step 9: Get a travel insurance (just in case).
✓ Step 10: Calm down my mom by spending two weeks in the sunshine on Tenerife.
